because why would you ever go to any other area in the game for an extended period of time when everything you need can be found in the wild area? PC? Strapped onto you. Pokemon center? Just camp for a few minutes and you're fully maxed out, with bonus friendship to boot. Breeding? Right there, under the bridge. Shopping? Just talk to one of the randos hanging about and trade for some watts. There's no reason to go to any other area in the game outside of the story or the battle tower.
