>>44685207Here's another one: Cheren and Bianca's constant interruptions in BW. I've been replaying Black recently and taking note of how often they're in your face:
When you get your first Pokemon and have to battle both
When you have to go to Bianca's house before getting your dex
When you get your dex and they both talk
When you get shown how to catch a Pokemon and take your first step onto Route 1 and they make you take it with them
When you reach the end of Route 1 and they compare Pokemon
When you go into the Pokemon Center in the first town and Bianca partially instructs you on what a Pokemon Center does
When you leave the Pokemon center in the first town and have the Plasma cutscene
(This 1-route break from them here is the record so far)
When you go to the Trainer's School in the second town
When you beat the Gym and go to the Dreamyard
When you go to the next route and are forced into the Plasma shit at Wellspring Cave
When you beat the next gym and they decide to defend the gym
When you go to the Gym in the next town
When you beat the Gym and Bianca's Pokemon get stolen
When you go to leave the town and Bianca decides to battle you in the gate
When you get slightly through the route and Cheren battles you
When you explore Nimbasa and Bianca has her daddy scene
When you go to the western route and Cheren has the whole scene with Alder
This is about 4 badges in so far, and this isn't all the forced shit, just those with Cheren and Bianca. I love gen 5 but the constant interruptions are annoying and Cheren + Bianca are more annoying rivals than the entirety of Kalos' rival squad.
