The fact they are not polishing best part of Pokemon- pokemon themselves.
Less and less mons feel unique because nowadays everything can learn everything.
The abilities and attacks dont match pokemon descriptions
There are a lot of attacks that seem redundand [rockthrow and smack down, slam, wrap] yet they do not cut them or make them better.

They pretty much perfected the use of the 3DS lower screen in Gen 6 and then replaced it with fucking Rotom in Gen 7, and then somehow made it even worse in USUM. It's hardly the only example of them just nuking a perfectly good part of the game, but it really just feels like deliberate self-sabotage the way great mechanics like that get made worse for no fucking purpose.
We would have lost that second screen with the Switch anyway, but still

Also, losing sitting was some bullshit.

The game hasn’t changed much fundamentally

Think of its as like that one Science test in 3rd grade, if might be difficult at first then you know the answer. Then you take that very same exam over and over as the years go by and you know the exact answers

The only difference is how the test is taken first it was low grade paper, the glossy paper, then scantron, then computerized

Thats what pokemon feels like
