No, I'm serious. It's the same conundrum. Everyone always argues about whether Bulbasaur is a frog or a dinosaur or a reptile or whatever, when in reality Bulbasaur is a fusion of all three things and even a little more. Bulbasaur has tons of inspirations and pulls from many different animals for it's design. That's why it's entire line can't ever really be pinned down as one specific thing. It has elements of many, many creatures, and is the perfect blend of them to the point where it looks like it's own unique monster.
Toxtricity is the same thing. It has many different elements that it pulls from (Salamanders, Newts, Geckos, etc) along with the typical punk/rock themes and other styles. It even integrates it's main design focus into it's body in a natural way like Bulbasaur does (it has a bunch of external organs that it can stimulate to generate electricity, and doing this causes it to emit sound similar to some instruments). Just like how Bulbasaur is it's own unique thing, Toxtricity is not a Gecko or a Newt or even a Salamander. It's a Toxtricity. It's just a Pokemon.
Also it kills things by screaming at them until they die and fucking chugs stagnant water to absorb it's toxins. It's just rad as fuck no matter what.
