I think the implication is Yancy/Curtis are their real names cause they sound more "dorky" and Nancy/Christoph are the stage names cause they sound more appealing. With Yancy it'a more ambiguous I guess because it sounds weird, and Nancy sounds more like the real name, but in Curtis' case it seems more likely that it's his real name and Christoph is just a stage name that sounda more "exotic"
