Because a fucking spinoff game is supposed to be a AAA title. Pokemon snap is a cart ride taking pictures and that doesn't get any flack. Swshit had millions poured into it and there's like 8 animations that aren't reused from 2012.

It was $60 zoomer. It also had very little in the way of actual content and you couldn't even play the multiplayer without both you and your opponent having both a DS and a copy of Diamond or Pearl. Even the Stadium games had more to them.
