But also, the Greek underworld isn't really the same thing as what people imagine Hell to be. It's not a raging inferno where you burn for all eternity, it's sort of dark and damp, and when your soul moves on to whatever part of the afterlife that it goes to, even the bad ones aren't really associated with fire.
