>>44709898Inteleon to Cinderace is basically comparing shit to diarrhea.
Inteleon looks ridiculous and garish, with it's wiry limbs and tux, but it at least has the general features of a reptile (such as the face) that blends them together and some interesting ideas behind it (Lizards are famous for their many adaptational advantages such as skin flaps to glide or the wall crawling; Inteleon takes this and turns it into a spy motif). It's not executed well, but the idea is at least solid.
Cinderace is a mediocre idea executed MILES worse. Unlike inteleon, who only has patterns resembling clothes, it has actual literal fur-clothes including fucking sports shorts and tights. It's proportions are also extremely uncanny and odd, with human like legs ending in rabbit feet instead of typical rabbit legs, a too-human face that veers into anthro significantly more than the other two, and elephant syndrome arms that end in underdeveloped baby hands. Even disregarding the soccer theme, it does not look like a pokemon or even a wild monster. It looks like a singular individual character from an animal-theme anime. It's too-human features counteract the rabbit idea to the point of creating a creature that looks the worst of both worlds. As awful as Inteleon is, at least it's fucking face looks 100% like a basilisk lizard and it's design just needs to be tweaked to be good. I full heartedly believe that Cinderace's design needs to be scrapped entirely. It's not a pokemon, it's a character.
Inteleon might be deeply flawed, but at least it looks like a fucking monstrous species and is inspired by creatures who live alone, getting around the "how did herds of it live in the wild" issue (answer: Inteleon doesn't).
