>>44715356Well, presuming you're just going off of base SwSh, I'd suggest:
>BewearEarly availability and is very strong and physically bulky with Fluffy to double its physical defense, except against fire types. May find its design stupid though, which is an entirely fair complaint.
>Hitmon familyYou can find Tyrogue fairly common in the Wild Area right out the gate if memory serves, and I think this is your first chance to get a fighting type. It evolves into three different things, so take your pick. Or even just get multiple Tyrogue and use two or three. I've always been partial to Hitmonlee though.
>PangoroBesides being rather cool in my opinion, the immunity to Psychic attacks can be nice when the rest of your team struggles with it, and having a good STAB against otherwise fairly annoying Ghosts can help.
>MachampCan never go wrong with a classic, and No Guard Dynamic Punch is as fun as ever. Also has a Gigantamax if you can find it.
>Sirfetch'dThis Pokémon is just neat, and the Leek item can make it get crits all the time. Also found pretty early, though only in Sword. Which you aren't playing. Trade if you can.
>Grapploct or FalinksIt's probably a good idea to suggest a Gen 8 fighting-type for this Gen 8 playthrough besides Sirfetch'd. Grapploct is a really cool Pokémon with the sad downside of having a very shallow movepool. It has Fighting and Normal and that's it. Has Water too, but it's mostly special and runs off its 70 SpAtt compared to nearly 120 attack. Falinks is much the same, but at least has Bug too in Megahorn and First Impression, and a rather fun move in No Retreat to set up well.
