Simply untrue, even in Gen 3. Chansey has far fewer weaknesses, which makes up for the overall less special bulk. Chansey and Blissey could also heal themselves. What Regice did have, however, is the unresisted BoltBeam combo, making it a dangerous Pokemon to switch in on.

Not really OU thought. Its a good special pivot on certain offence teams. Nor really comparable to blissey/astarachi/ other defensive special sponges
