>PBR a game made specifically to waste your time with pretty battle animations is still faster than the Switch games, which have a full-fledged overworld and story
Why? Why do the main-series games sponge up so much time with lackluster animations and gameplay?
If SWSH had a battle flow like PBR it would
>incentivize people to not turn off battle animations while ALSO speeding up battles
>help people who DO turn off battle animations even more because the tired issues of "It's Super Effective" and whatnot sponging up so many fucking seconds would be alleviated
It's literally a win-win. I could go without the standard "skip interaction" that's common in literally every other JRPG, but why does Pokemon refuse to innovate its battle system? Only good would come out of it.
