Also, sevii islands are fucking great.
I think my favorite thing is that they really kept the original feel in mind, no new cut scenes, no new side games like contests, none of it. The originals were simple and focused on catching and battling pokemon and going on an adventure, and firered and leafgreen keep true to that feel I find.
