2021 will be a big year for Pokemon.
Part 3: The Cinder Citadel
>Q1 2021 release, plan was Pokemon day but it might just have a trailer on that date with a release in March
>Takes place in the plateau between Hammerlocke and the cliff south of Route 10
>Doesn’t have a specific real life location, but it acts as the “Wales” of the Galar region
>The citadel was constructed by the people of Hammerlocke 1,000 years ago to protect against the great Dragon Cynndrydd
>However, no records of it remain and nobody can agree on whether it disappeared or never existed to begin with
>The citadel is now basically a medieval/renaissance fair with a plaza in the center, bug catching, fishing and jousting contests, and other things you can do through co-op like Entralink from Unova
>There are hills and forests in the edges of the area and it’s bigger than it appears on the map, but the real part is that the towers are real dungeons that all connect to each other in a labyrinth below
>Think of something like the Whirl Islands and Lugia, but the dungeon itself resembles Hyrule Castle artistically
>You search each tower first to gather 4 fragments of Cynndrydd (Scale, Fang, Claw, and Spike)
>Bring them to the plaza and you feel tremors in the towers, which open up the labyrinth which was unknown to everybody
>The people 1,000 years ago captured Cynndrydd but put it in the labyrinth, and destroyed all records of the labyrinth and most of Cynndrydd existing, to keep people from looking for it
>Battle it in a Max Raid and catch it to complete the story
>Sinnoh starters and Kalos Starters return
