I would love a Pokemon region based on Mexico, just because Japan has such a bonkers idealized image of Mexico, I can only imagine how wild and weird of a region they would make it into. Japanese people for some reason believe Mexico to be this magical mysterious movie western land full of nothing but gunslinging cowboys and superhuman lucha libre wrestlers. When I went to Japan, because I am noticeably Hispanic I told people I was from Mexico and everyone treated me like I was a unicorn from another dimension.

There, fixed for accuracy. In any case we won't be running out of places anytime soon. Game Freak Just did the standard Tokyo, NYC, Paris, Hawaii, and London locales first due to tourist destination appeal. Whatever has the next biggest tourist locales (especially for Japanese) will be next up.

Really, Game Freak should stay home, both literally and figuratively. Finish Japan, and give us a region of more passion as it's what Game Freak is best familiar with. A back to the drawing board Gen to base the series off going into the future.
