Do you think Pokemon will ever start targeting children again? What enticed them to make the shift they did in Sun and Moon?
I was a hardcore Pokemon fan and tried to get my kids into it but to no avail. It just doesn't seem to keep their interest at all. Meanwhile the only things we can really play as a family are shit like Fortnite or Minecraft.
It's like nowadays they only seem to target people that have been used to the gameplay loop since Red and Blue while they keep other projects (like Pokemon Smile or Cafe Mix) for the cafe mix instead of including them in the experience.
I feel like Let's Go was a step in the right direction with the co-op and more hands-on gameplay than sword and shield, but if I hand them the controller to player 1 they always ask why they can't go somewhere or do something like they can in Fortnite. It's a little frustrating.
