Just found a wild shiny Farfetch'd while hatching on Route 5 (third I've found on-route while breeding). Bit annoyed, been avoiding everything but Drifloon, in the hopes of getting a 2nd one for the evolutionary line.

6. 6 fucking shinies while looking for Bulbasaur. 2000+ Bulbasaur. 2 months. I finally just caught something else. My Switch has been tied up by this game for too long. I'll start another chain and catch the first shiny I see each time instead of focusing on one. Still want a shiny livingdex but if rares are this difficult I'm done. Why does only one Bulbasaur spawn at a time? Multiple Beedrill appear.

Not yet. Going for a living shiny dex, currently at 244/825. I have only played until I unlocked the daycare, so ultra beasts and type:null have to wait until I'm done with the earlier gens. 900 hours in at the moment.

All the Ultra Sun ones minus Poipole/Naganadel, I need to get UM or wait till Crown Tundra comes out to see if I can get them that way

I'm at 54% shiny living dex completion (per the living dex tracker which includes regional forms and Gigantamax), so knowing I'm over halfway down is pretty encouraging

My only unintended shiny I ever got was a fucking ralts in omega ruby. Felt fuckin good. Only minor complaint was it was post game while I was trying for a living regional dex and not at the start so it could be my ace as I played through. Oh well at least it was female and had decent stats.
