Here's a starter trio I've made for two regions based off of Shikoku and Chugoku. The names for them are Beetwig, Raccoot, and Eftoxin. The themes for them are Tokusatsu genres (Mecha, Sentai, and Kaiju). Which one would you pick.

I'm also doing a fan region based on Shikoku+Chugoku, but my starter trio are a Grass Pea Crab, a Fire/Dragon Eastern Dragon, and Water/Ice White Elephant.

The Grass starter gets a much bigger and varied movepool than the other two - including some Water attacks such as Bubblebeam and Crabhammer - in addition to being a fast physical attacker to make up for it, while the Fire/Dragon is more of a defensive support-mon that evolves a bit later than the others.
