Seriously though the game isn't good. It is essentially Red/Blue but just worse. Its ridiculously easy, to the point where i had next to no issues even though i underleveled my Pokemon usually by 10 levels, no tthat it matters because your partner, i.e. Eevee or Pikachu, is incredibly OP and can carry the entire game with no issues. Even if you don't care about difficulty, it still has a bunch of issues that make the game more tedious for no reason, such as the fact that it still has bushes that need to be cut down everywhere, even though cut is no longer an attack.
Usually the thing about HM's used to be that you always had to basically sacrifice some attacks from your pokemon or risk being stuck and needing to backtrack, but here HM's are passive abilities outside of combat, but the game still keeps putting bushes everywhere, so just randomly in your journey you always just have to stand still and pause the game for 10 seconds to watch Pikachu do his cut animation so you can progress. You might think that this is a nitpick, and it kinda is, but it symbolizes this game's faults perfectly. Bushes are a mechanic carried over from Red and Blue, but now they're just watered down to the point where they're redundant and tedious, but are still kept in because no one thought about impact and balancing of their inclusion, and because they were in Red and Blue. Like i said, Lets go Pikachu/Eevee is just Red and Blue but worse, and you'd just be better off playing those games instead.
