Bewear. It’s not my favorite design by any stretch, but holy fuck the official art looks so...flat. It doesn’t get the mascot suit shape across very well, and the limbs look weird and bendy.
I absolutely hated it when I saw the art, but the model actually softened my opinion on it.

Calyrex is in no way a good design by any means but the official art is so fucked up. The lines are wonky and shaky, the widths are inconsistent, the blue coloured lines on the top are way out of place, the shading (especially on the stomach) is horseshit, the perspective is totally wrong and overall it's just a fucking disaster. This thing is so cunted it wouldn't look out of place on an amateur furry artist's DeviantArt page.

Inteleon is a shitty pokemon but it's official art makes me just want to end it's suffering. Fan art made me realize why it's official art sucks and they kind of work and it's the fact that Inteleon looks way better when it's DOING ANYTHING but standing still.

Agreed. At least Greninja made it out unscathed for a whole generation before that Battle Bond bs. Which really pissed me off because I made a fake mechanic of the same name that was basically a cooler version of the TCG Tag Team concept, before either came out. But it was a one off gimmick for Ashninja the cold steel OC

Pretty much all of Gen 7. Ohmura just couldn’t do Pokémon official art well. He was trying too hard to simulate Sugimori style, but failed miserably and made everything look flat with weirdly tinted colors and either bland poses or unnatural poses.
