It actually does remind me of Corviknight. Really OP, it's too "edgy" for the Togepi line proper even though it is a cool design.

I could only see this working as a split evolution, perhaps evolving with a Dusk Stone instead of Shiny Stone.

Shiny Stone = Light Stone in Jap
Dusk Stone = Darkness Stone in Jap

i dont think it was the plan from the beginning
togepi and togetic were gen 2, lati@ts were gen 3, and togekiss was gen 4
i have a feeling that a lot of interesting ideas were left on the cutting room floor during the development of old pokemon games, so its all speculation and we'll never know

How do people like Togetic? It's nowhere as cute as Togepi and is just an awkward egg mutation with wings, the epitome of it just gets bigger but without any charm. At least Togekiss is interesting and has nice lore.
