We don't know what Dugtrio's deal is, since it's one creature evolving into three heads, but Mystery Dungeon implies a hivemind while also identifying them collectively as one being, despite them having more than one identity. Exeggcute are also weird like Falinks, but at least they have the excuses of being psionically linked to each other, and needing to be together to thrive and evolve.
