They won't have their 25th anniversary empty, even though it'd probably be for the better if they did.

I'm feeling Gen 9. The anime isn't intimately tied to the games now so Gamefreak can just rush ahead.

I hope they bring virtual console pokemon to the switch. Maybe some of the later games like black and white. It's a stretch, but such an easy way for them to make loads of money for much less work than a new game from scratch

I want another chance to play and possibly enjoy Johto. I didn't like Kanto originally, but I had fun with LGPE because of Megas and the Pokemon distribution changes. If they could do that with Johto it could be a lot of fun.

Remakes would be nice, and while it doesn't feel likely it certainly feels more likely than more DLC or gen 9.
