How do I make a good OU team without using Fairy types? I really hate Fairy and refuse to use them, but with Urshifu shitting up the tier, it feels like I absolutely have to use a Fairy or get clapped by the bear.

I've gotten to 1500+ before by using a rain team with Seismitoad and Poliwrath as my sweepers during the heyday of sun teams, but I can never break through 1600.

It's not like I hate the Pokemon, I just hate the type so much that I refuse to use them. I still use Granbull in any Gen 2 - 5 game I can, but I refuse to use him in any Gen 6+ game because of the type.

Fairy is pretty mandatory, but Steel is kinda on the weaker side right now because Urshifu will delete any and every Steel type. Even Corviknight gets cleanly 2HKO'd by a plethora of sets, and you can't even use them to "counter" Toxapex since Steel types have no viable way of threatening Pex out. Corv can PP stall Pex, but no Pex user is going to stay in on Corv.

Urshifu outspeeds and kills easily if you chipped Scizor at all.

That means that you also can't switch into Urshifu and chase it out, you have to pivot into it, but good luck finding a pivot that's bulky enough to get past Urshifu without using teleport Clefable. Oh, and Urshifu can just switch out into something that walls Scizor, like Corv, Pex, Skarm, Aegislash, Hippo, Volcarona, or Rotom-H.

Adamant band or Adamant Bulk Up always OHKO's. Also, good luck getting Scizor in healthy. There are very few good Pokemon that can handle rocks + bear, and depending on the bear set, you lose if you make one wrong prediction.

Why not just use Focus Sash/Counter Alakazam at that point? It's safer because you can lure in the bear and you don't get chipped.

Unfortunately, that's never gonna happen.
Maybe Urshifu, possibly Clefable, but Toxapex for sure isn't getting banned. The council keeps pussyfooting around suspecting it and constantly ignores any discussion about Toxapex.
