Yes.
Give him an evolution where he breaks free from the mushroom.
The evo will be a fast frail attacker with extremely good attack and speed (Deoxys levels of minmax), and a great movepool and ability.

+20 to HP & both defenses. +40 to Attack. Now its shitty niche it had (doubles rain/trick room) is better if played right. That said Parasect is fucking awesome & I love it. Design is cool and it's fun to use. but like >>44764919 it is only salvageable by increasing it's BST by like 100. (Which every single fully evolved mon should have over 100)

Not true at all. You could decrease its BST by 100 and make it OU as long as you give it a proper move set. For example, give it access to both baton pass or toxic spikes and it’d jump to UU immediately

Maybe for singles, I don't play singles so I have no idea how to improve Parasect there. Having Toxic Spikes & Baton Pass seems like it'd have a niche depending on the threats there. But for doubles, it does one- maybe two things and doesn't really do anything else. Only thing I can think of is improving what it already does.

Parasect is the perfect mon for capturing. It gets Spore, False Swipe, Swords Dance and a fourth move of your choice, such as Giga Drain for weakening the target.

He does oddly well in GS Cup formats by nature of the fact he x4 resists Ground, absorbs Water, and gets Spore, Rage Powder. and Wide Guard. Like, you'll probably still want Amoonguss, but he can catch people off guard.

It's easily on of the worst, if not the worst offensive dual typed combination you can create, and defensively, it does not stand out either, with 5 resistances and 6 weaknesses, 2 of those weaknesses being 4x times weak

Close, but it's Breloom for having most of that plus a decent speed and toxic orb/poison heal for passive HP recovery while you are throwing balls.

...that being said, grass is such an annoying type to have defensively against most legendaries that are going to be your biggest challenges that I tend to prefer Gliscor even if you need to rely on some other mon to pass the status condition first.
