>>44774277Have you played Colosseum? If so, it'll provide everything you liked about that game in a virtually improved light, from better scaling to variety, character model quality, speed, more areas and even a few reused classics from the last game; much welcomed QOL, generally. If not, you're in for a unique experience within the series in pretty much its most compact and optimized light to date, which in essence is stealing Pokemon from trainers, well balanced across the three contemporary generations and with graphical quality generally over par for 2005. Many returning Pokemon models were lifted and touched up from the Stadium titles, but a handful of them show their age. There's also pitiful variety outside of the eponymous snagging mechanic without trading, as wild Pokemon, which weren't even a thing in Colosseum, are restricted to three separate zones and with small, average to below average Pokemon selections between them. Despite that, it's still more options for variety in a time when there weren't even 390 total Pokemon in existence.
If you're a fan of Sinnoh, it'll also shine a fascinating light into the momentous Gen IV buildup campaign that was still in development at the time, provided that you know where to look. Finally, if you know anything about Orre trainers names, you'll be pleased to know that they're just as nonsensical as the last game. Hope you like this game, because it really is a one of a kind experience considering the direction this franchise has taken in recent years.
