>>44777612I mean just look at it reasonably. You could theoretically make new save files over and over to effectively clone your starter or legendaries. Just save before them, make a new save file after you get one, go back to previous save, rinse and repeat. It would fuck with the intent of making special Pokemon like that unique. It's sort of the same reason starters are mostly male, they don't want you to breed them because it ruins the 'special' feeling (though they obviously don't try very hard lol).
Like I said, yeah it sucks, yeah there are probably workarounds, but end of day youre right and GF is retarded
