Yeah it's weird right? I thought it was a lumbering fat thing back then even though the dex says it's small. I actually prefer the look of its 3D model because it gets it right, he's a little buddy who spins and slices ya up.

I often make fun of Nidofags for loving their manlet kaiju, but god damn if I don't fall into the same trap with Excadrill. It just feels like it should be a lot bigger than it actually is, you know? That said, it's kind of funny to imagine a tiny mole just ripping through an opposing team, like a tiny angry wolverine.

That's the best part that redeems its size for me. Excadrill's ridiculously high power level coming from an unassuming little mole makes it absolutely hilarious that he's so small. If it wasn't as strong I'd probably like it to be a bit larger. I do feel for Nidoking guys, he's cool but definitely feels like he should be larger and doesn't actually have the strength to get away with not being so imposing.
