In competitive it has it's niche as a ss sweeper, but it's not as good as it's contemporaries at this job.

I'm not familiar with Over-used/Under-used since I mainly play monotype. Last time I checked it was in the lowest tier of play known as PU (I have no idea what it means). However in monotype it is often used in bug teams as a ss sweeper with access to sr.

I don't know/care about his viability, I just think he's a fun design. A perfect mix between cute and cool, and evocative of the Paras line while being very distinct from it. If more G5 mons were designed like that instead of being direct "upgrades" of the G1 mons they were meant to replace, it'd have been an amazing gen for mon designs.
