>>44789357they can be caught in pokeballs. sure they aren't the "traditional" type of pokemon since they're from an alternate universe & they're called something completely different, but since they can be caught in balls, have a 4-move movepool, have special abilities and can use the powers of held items, and have measurable IV's & alterable EV's, & can be shiny, & can use Z-Moves, & they can be sent into the PC & can be revived from fainting after a battle, and they can be status'd & pokemon health items like potions, revives, ethers, & rare candies & vitamins work on them, & their strength can be determined by levels ranging from 1-100, & those levels are gained via measurable EXP-Points gained from battle & alternative sources of similar origins, & can ge pokerus, & are registerable in not only the pokedex but also the region's championship hall of fame, & they can be super-trained at leve 100 with bottle caps, & can learn moves via TM's, HM's, & Move-Tutors, I'd say they're DAMN close enough to being pokemon.
