>>44798930This is why this debate happens all the time, its because the canon is so wishy washy with how "human" Pokemon are and how the world treats them. Several times throughout the anime Pokemon are eating at the table sometimes with regular bowls, the video games have pokemon eating on the floor or on plates, its jumbled. You've also got moments in the anime/manga/spin-off games where Pokemon are more humanlike than what you'd imagine, but the main series games universe shows them more as bestial creatures who have an ill defined level of sapience.
Its weird and I imagine most people who assume they are in relationship with any Pokemon its in the anime one where Pokemon are more humanlike, can learn how to talk, and show higher level thinking.
