6 had a thing where it felt weirdly celebratory, maybe because it was the start of a "new era". It feels more like an anniversary game than SM. Stuff like Origins, the Alain special, Kanto getting a sizable amount of Megas, Charizard and M2 getting 2 each, free kanto starters, M2 and the birds being the post game legendary hunt, some kanto mons getting a small stat buff, wasn't there reused RGBY maps too?
