>>44804940I would say do Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Blue or Red Rescue team first. Then do Explorers of Sky, and then Gates to Infinity, and the Super Mystery Dungeon.
Explorers of Sky is my favourite, it has the best story. Blue Rescue is second. Gates to Infinity is third, and Super is last.
Super forces you to continue the story no matter what, it doesn't let you do random missions to stock up on items and to grind for levels, so it forces you to continue and you might be underlevelled because of it. It also makes your character a literal child in grade school, which is pretty dumb.
Explorers and Rescue are both great. No complaints.
Gates to Infinity has a limited selection of starters, just the gen 5 starters, Snivy, Tepig, Oshawott, and Axew and Pikachu.
