The meta was inherently flawed from the start, thanks to Item Clause and 6-on-6 Singles that prioritized hazards and switching. Good job, Smogon. An item designed for niche stuff to accommodate the effects of certain Max/G-Max Moves and a few hazards in VGC became the centralizing item in your metagame.

I don't need to. Even tier leaders and expert players had a huge discussion on whether the Boots were centralizing or not. It's concerning enough that several Pokemon that were low-tier before are much better now because they are able to use the item.

Hazards didn't fix shit you stupid pavement ape. This game needed more moves in the family of Pursuit to punish switching, not hazards. Boots have just reset the fucking clock back to before hazards existed and made that obvious again to anyone who isn't a dumb sheep like you.
