The whole motif of this Pokemon is that they are dragons that resemble worms, not actual worms, inside apples. It has two front appendages hidden inside its model. It is a miniature dragon, not a bug. With that said, I hope one day we get a Bug/Dragon Pokemon. Ideally, I want a regional form Trapinch that is pure-Bug that evolves into a regional form Vibrava that is Bug/Dragon, and then a regional form Flygon that is also Bug/Dragon. It's the easiest method ever; just make Trapinch not live in the damn desert so it is a proper bug. Done.
