SM would be many years after BW2 because it has a much older Red than the one in BW2

USM is an alternate universe of SM

SWSH doesn't have any hint so it's impossible to tell

Sun and Moon have Dexio and Sina show up referencing X&Y events in the past, so you have a logical follow on there. I'll probably be corrected but I don't recall any real time references in Sword and Shield, but they're using cell phones and got a type Null in the post game so it's doubtful they're in the past.

The problem is that they opened up a multiverse with Hoopa's rings and ultra wormholes so they can bring back whoever they want, whenever they want.
