In the same vein some people were absolutely convinced that Skarmory would be completely worthless now that Corviknight exists. It was even worse last gen with Celesteela which doesn't even make sense because they're fundamentally different Pokemon who do different things. At least Skarmory and Corviknight are fairly similar and yet they're differences are still enough to make both of them relevant in their own way.
