>Higher DifficultyNot anything over the top, don't need endgame bosses to all have legandaries or anything like that, but should make it at least a bit more difficult. Perhaps add back in the difficulty setting from B2W2 but in a way that's actually easy to access and use.
>Side Quests and DungeonsEncourage going out of your way to explore. More recent games have been getting less and less of this overall, but I'd love to see side quests and mini dungeons more for strong or legendary Pokémon. Speaking of legendaries, and this may be an unpopular opinion, make them strong Pokémon like the totems and/or raide where you merely beat to catch. The current system is fine, there's nothing inherently wrong with it, but it eventually just devolved into mindlessly throwing balls. This would be a bit more dynamic system to beat them down and then catch them.
