Help me anons understand why gen 1 designs are so good?
Inb4 genwun, gen 1 started the boom and no game has come close to outsell gen 1 despite all tech advances.
I get why newer designs are worse, they are just simplistic rounded outlines, overly blobby.
But what makes gen 1 the way it is? Whats the design philosophy?
