They're all annoying as fuck and almost never say anything interesting. The script has a fuck ton of words to say very few things, high word count doesn't make for a well written character.

At the end of the game, I enjoyed my time with the cast of Moon more than I had with any other cast of characters in the series. Even though I hated all the excessive handholding and cutscenes, I'm seriously tempted to replay it, which hasn't happened since Pokemon B2/W2.
US/UM can go suck a shit covered chode, though.

Alola's routes on that pic are straight lines, exactly the same as hoenn but while hoenn grows in complexity until the fourth gym alola stays at two lanes max. Its not bad though, I liked how it had some completely optional areas.

SM are probably the one games that have good ideas on paper but got fucked over on the execution department and the gameplay and suffers from the opposite problem from XY where that game had a weak cast of characters and the single player but has some of the best gameplay improvements and a less interruptions in said gameplay as well while SM had a stronger focus on the single player and story but heavily fucked over the gameplay experience in the process and had way too many interruptions which severely hurt the flow of the game.

At least its not SWSH which is essentially an amalgamation of the worst parts of XY and SM with almost non of the good qualities barring sone quality of life shit that could of been and should of been introduced in SM or XY.

Poke-Hawaii is one of the best regions.

It's not great but it's better than gen 6.

SM was the first pokemon game with an actual story that mattered. I have not played SwSh but before SM pokemon stories were barebones and a simple side quest for the main game. SM has the "most" story by a mile and I think the best.

Same as the story SM was the first pokemon game where characters mattered. SM was the first game to show characters as marketable as the pokemon themselves.

SM has a fantastic pokedex. I think there are some weak points like the starters but the mid-dex is great and UBs are better than any other late-dex.

Those are terrible but there are good features like Poke Pelago and... yeah not many good features in SM.
>Decent OST
It's forgettable.

Stick to "roadblocks" and "unskipable cutscenes" since while overblown those are valid criticisms of SM.
