GSC you can at least forgive most of the massive flaws because it was still early days. I'm not gonna blame them for not knowing the direction the franchise was gonna go in.
HGSS coming out a decade later and fixing literally none of GSC's issues is entirely unforgiveable
And since they're functionally the same shit with the only major difference being the phys/spec split, I choose the play the game with better spritework.
