Growing up I didn’t like gen 3. The length of it’s run doubled that of Gens 1 and 2 combined in the west, the anime switched to digital animation, WotC stopped publishing the cards, and Sugimori’s official Pokemon art moved away from watercolors.
But going back and playing Emerald to do ribbon master runs has been enjoyable. So I’m coming around on it. Here’s to you, Emerald.

I just beat Emerald today!
Playing from Gen III to SWSH. I liked it overall. Felt very fast compared to Gen IV and the only part that I really didn't like was endgame going from Lilycove to Sky Temple. Water sucks bro
