Since Nintendo dubbed October 27th as the holiday season, Crown Tundra should launch before that. Pokemon Direct next week perhaps?

Crown Tundra can come out any time between September 22th to Dec 21st. That's autumn season for 2020 which is when CT is slated for release.

I also think that it will release in Octuber. In a trailer they said "available DURING fall 2020". If Crown Tundra will release in November, in the trailer they had said "available AT THE END fall 2020" for obvious reasons (this that said anon >>44857441).

They just call it Fall kid. They advertised LGPE and Smash for Holiday 2018, even though there was 3 weeks between them and neither being released strictly during the "holiday" period of the 21st Dec-6th Jan.

I'm going to speculate October 22nd or 23rd. Isle of armor came out on Wednesday June 17th. There are 255 days between June 17th and Pokémon Day. Halfway between the two is around 127 days, which would put us at October 22nd/23rd. This is ostensibly "fall" and also allows them to space out content until Pokémon Day

No, you misunderstand - they make no distinction about when during the period it launches, so if they say "Fall" it's clear they mean "any point during Fall until we tell you further".

Now that's absolutely happening. GF porting a bunch of old games over seems highly likely. It feels like they're avoiding Sinnoh because it lacks the nostalgia factor that the first three gens have and it also received a good bit of criticism for it's slow gameplay

Honestly even if they do have a specific meaning by fall or holidays, it doesn't matter. Until they give a date, it's up in the air and expecting consistency over intentionally general terms is pointless
