Yes, blue is the favorite color of almost the entire world. But in the case of Umbreon, I have to admit that I prefer red eyes over yellow and the normal one has a blackish color, the shiny is obscure gray instead.

All it does is change its yellow rings to blue. There are many shinies that turn dark-colored mons into something interesting like Mega Gengar.

oh ffs, dragon was purposely rare in the first two gens. They were reserved for the Pseudo Legendary & Trade Evolution with the Dragon Scale.
If Charizard was a dragon, it would've broke the starter triangle.
