U-turn is Bug type.
But really, it's because other types like Fighting or Dark are usually better at covering the same things as Bug.

Tell that to fucking Rhyperior who pretty much always carries fucking Megahorn. The only reason Pokemon don't carry bug coverage often is because most bug coverage moves are fucking horrible. The only good offensive bug moves are fucking Megahorn and U-Turn. The former has shit distribution and the latter is used VERY often, but just for momentum since it hits like a wet noodle.

In Gen 5 Signal Beam and Hidden Power Bug used to be run to hit Celebi on Rotom-Wash and Keldeo, respectively.
Bug moves as coverage are only really worth if they hit something important for 4x.
