it's as good as the original game, and that's the problem, really, it's just the exact same game with some QoL improvements and in 3D, no new story segments, no new dungeons, no new pokemon besides evolutions, it's literally the most low-effort remake they could have made besides a possible equally lazy Explorers remake that we'll probably see before the series dies for good
