I do not envy people that have to paint backgrounds for those new shows. So much detail, but sometimes, it's shit that you spent hours painting that will only appear in one fucking frame of one scene!

So just like every other movie and tv show, animated or real life then. Shit, Rik Mayall played Peeves in HP1, but as they had SO much story to tell on-screen, all Mayall's scenes got cut for time.

Nah, that version kind of looks dead. Alola should be full of life, so I'd say it would be better to darken the colors instead of desaturating them. I feel like it would make it feel more real, but still natrual.

Why are the aesthetics of the Pokemon anime so shit compared to other anime?
The whole appeal is to see the pokemon from the games live in the wilderness and shit, yet they give ZERO care about how the environement looks...
