>>44877953It's sad that you don't see Klefki for what it's based on. I'll oversimplify it for you, basically fairytales sometimes were used to explain the unexplainable, or little weird events in life.
Klefki is meant to be a pokemon that explains why your house or car keys go missing. You can see this trait in a few fairy types: dedenne steals electricity (this is why your electricity bill was so large last month), impidimp steals precious items and consumes the angry emotions the person has from getting frustrated for not finding the item.
This is why we have fairytales like BabaYaga, to explain why kids go missing in a scary forest instead of explaining to your child there's a crazy serial killer in
the woods.
