What, the fact that you have to actually use your brain to figure out what and when to use it on a battle per battle basis instead of just mindlessly slapping an item on one of your pokemon while teambuilding? If anything it's what makes the mechanic good. It adds an extra layer of strategy that none of the other gimmicks added.

Sure, dinamax anything it will be OP anyways... I've reached master in the first season only using a fucking arcanine with 4 dmg moves. Dinamax is the worst shit. I remember playing ranked in USUM using both Z-moves and Megas and the game was really dinamic. This is pure shit. Broken on singles and stupidly predictable on doubles.
