OP might be all the "taxonomic" pikachu family but if we think of pikachu equivalents as a more conceptual thing you can also add the Marill, Sandshrew, Minccino and even Trubbish lines, similar stat totals and everything. Are there any others?

Might as well just take random pokemon, like ponyta and add some round circle redish/pinkish dots to it's cheeks and say ponyta is now part of pikachu family.

The same as other baby mons - give you another side activity in Pokemon GSC, this time being it babying the relatively weak Pokemon.

Sadly, GSC is so different in direction from other games in the series that a lot of things in it do not work in next games, and brainlets cannot wrap their heads around this fact and call it the worst game, duh.
