If you go to the lavender radio tower (idk if it's daily or weekly or what yet) the DJ will be talking about a Pokemon he heard can change it's pigment with a certain set of DVs, and a certain nickname. You have to check the notes on his desk to see what Pokemon it is, the radio show will always cut out the name of the Pokemon.
The first one I found out about is a Skiploom with the last 4 DVs being 15 (out of 16) name Orchid will have a custom color palette. Idk if it extends to Hoppip and Jumpluff yet but I certainly hope it does.
It's basically like a gen 2 shiny, requires a super specific set of DVs, but then also requires a nickname (apparently the nicknames are part of the workaround to make it possible)
